My God
Oh, my God. I can’t discover who and what God is in my life from the viewpoint of others. It’s nice to hear the wonderful words spoken in our centers, or to read about God in our great books. These are all tools, ways that guide me to self-discovery. It’s up to me to cultivate my connection to this power within, my God connection, no one else’s.Recently, I realized that I had not taken true ownership of who, and what, God was for me personally. I began to open to a desire for discovery, a connection to a deeper love that lives within me, a waiting partnership. Discovering my God is a great adventure of contemplation, prayer, meditation, and long walks. Walking, and talking to God, opens my heart in greater trust, faith and guidance.
Our personal connection with God is unique and special to each one of us. We each get to choose how much we will partner with God. What I have found to be true is that God is Infinite, with a depth that is endless. My God is all embracing, and gives me a sense of strength that no storm can unravel.
Discovering my connection to God is an inside job, a life long adventure of joy, celebration, and discovery. I welcome the opportunity to partner with the Infinite in every moment.
